Glacier National Park is the tenth U.S National Park. It was established on May 11, 1910 and is located in northwest Montana, it also shares a border with Alberta, Canada. The park encompasses 1,584 square miles and has more than 650 lakes. There are also 1,000 different types of species of plants and animals.
Because of the parks magnificent beauty it was nicknamed "Crown of the Continent". While exploring the park you will find alpine forests, rough terrain, fluorescent meadows, large lakes, and rolling prairies.
